O Schuhplatter é uma das danças mais antigas e mais espetaculares da Europa. É composta de duas partes. Na primeira parte, a moça gira rapidamente enquanto que o rapaz a acompanha, batendo palmas vigorosamente. Na segunda, os dois dançam uma antiga forma de valsa camponesa que é a base de quase todas as danças populares da Europa.

The Schuhplatter is one of the dances the oldest and most spectacular in Europe. It consists of two parts. In the first part, the girl turns quickly and the boy came, clapping vigorously.
